What's most notable about blue merle shepherds is their eyes. They can have two different colored eyes. Since this makes their appearance stand out from the traditional sheepdogs, it is said that they were once called the "ghost-eye dog".

Didn't know this particular dog has these eyes - never knew what to make of them. (And...like the enlargements of previous All Blue postings.)
