~~Häagen-Dazs Remnants ~ the dramatic image produced by the remains of Mayan Chocolate ice cream in the bottom of a bowl.
~~Supernova Remnants
~ the dramatic objects produced by the violent explosion of a massive star at the end of its life. Eventually, the remnants cool and collapse to form interstellar clouds from which new stars and planets can be formed. Perhaps the most famous and best-observed is this one - SN 1987A - the newly formed remnant of a supernova in the Large Magellanic Cloud.

stellar hagen das!
Nice photo. It really looks like something captured from space.
Supernova are amazing. I'm learning about them now in a cosmology course.
When they occur they they release more energy in less than a second then all energy released by a hundred of our suns over 10 billion years. Kinda like a massive sugar rush
