It takes a lot of imagination to be a good photographer. You need less imagination to be a painter because you can invent things. But in photography everything is so ordinary; it takes a lot of looking before you learn to see the extraordinary.

This is the first photograph I've taken for my new course in digital photography.

After class I went to the restroom and saw this black & white scene. I pulled the paper towel partly out of the dispenser and took the shot!

Is it strange? Do you see what I see?

I can't help but notice a very crumpled face in that paper towel.
