≈≈ from "An Aquarium"

Streaks of green and yellow iridescence,
Silver shiftings,
Rings veering out of rings,
Silver -- gold --
Grey-green opaqueness sliding down,
With sharp white bubbles
Shooting and dancing,
Flinging quickly outward.
Nosing the bubbles,
Swallowing them,
Fish.

~ Amy Lowell ~ American imagist poet 1874-1925

The image, and colors, are so close to the words of the poem, that as usual your "eye" amazes me. I would like to try to see such scenes underwater.

I was going to say almost the same thing el said.....all the elements of the poem are seen in the photo...and the fish is adorable.
